DARK ANGEL
As an initial public experiment and practice, after discovering that a certain sort of refelction on other individuals was a great stimulus to the ecstatic response, I would put on this costume and stand near doors of public places such as supermarkets or in other public gathering areas. I would focus on those who passed by, recite words of blessing internally, and would feel the response within me. There were times when I brought myself to tears on this reflection. My costume was a way of being this person in a public place, the challenge to my identity in having this experience was too much for me to be exposed without a protection. It also allowed the potential of a different charater to be the one who filled the role. I called the work Angel Work and saw the character as Dark Angel. This was around 2006.
